The reason why it’s called “the 8” is that it is shaped like the figure of an eight, and it’s easy to see it from above. The building was built in 2010 and has already won a lot of different prices. The building contains a lot of different things like a kindergarten, a café, a grocery store, company facilities and of course apartments.

At Orestaden you also have a local grocery store, with all that you need. You can have everyday fresh fruit, vegetables, international spices, cheese and everyday stuff.

 Orestad is only 15 minutes away from the centre of Copenhagen with the metro, and the Copenhagen airport is only 6 minutes away with the train. The metro is available all 24 hours a day.
